It’s a weekend of Irish culture, filled with parades, traditional music, cultural events, and a festive atmosphere that takes over the streets of Dublin. From the 14th-17th March 2026, Dublin City will be buzzing with celebrations for the St. Patrick’s Day Festival. Here’s a list of the events, along with the full parade schedule to make sure you have the best time!

St. Patrick's Festival Treasure Hunt | 14th March

Starting at Dublin City Council (Civic offices - Wood Quay, Dublin 8.), you and a team of up to four people will solve clues that will lead you to specific locations all around Dublin. During your adventure around the city you'll collect stamps and if you return your stamp card within the allotted time, your team will be entered into a raffle. There are fantastic prizes to be won, including 4 Grandstand tickets to watch the big parade with a complimentary meal afterwards. Start time: 10am - 1pm

Aran Knitting Workshop | 14th & 15th March

If you’re visiting Dublin for St Patrick’s Day, this is the perfect way to experience something truly Irish — away from the crowds. Suitable for all skill levels, this cosy Aran knitting workshop (located in The Pearse Centre) will teach you how to create your own traditional Aran scarf, a heritage craft that originated on the Aran Islands off Ireland’s west coast. Suitable for all skill levels, you’ll be guided step by step before leaving with a beautifully crafted scarf made from Irish wool yarn. A warm and unique souvenir to mark your visit to Dublin.
