1. The Irish Rock-n-Roll Museum | Curved Street,Temple Bar

If you’re a die-hard fan of U2 and Thin Lizzy, or just curious about Ireland’s rock scene, this museum (located in Temple Bar) lets you step into the history and soul of Irish rock ’n’ roll.
Get a guided tour of iconic memorabilia, behind-the-scenes stories and interactive exhibits that will have you headbanging on the way out. It’s the perfect stop to add some extra buzz to your day in Dublin.
2. Jameson Distillery | Bow Street, Smithfield.
Do you like it neat? On the rocks? Never tried but always wanted to? This is the place to learn how authentic Irish whiskey is made, and one of the best things to do in Dublin if you’re curious about Irish culture while also having a bit of ‘craic’.
If you’re staying with us in Temple Bar, The Jameson Distillery is a lovely 18-minute stroll along the River Liffey before crossing the bridge towards Smithfield.
Once a working distillery for the iconic whiskey brand, the building now offers a guided experience featuring: the history of Jameson, three comparative tastings and of course, lots of Irish humour.
3. The Brazen Head | Bridge Street Lwr, Usher’s Quay
Alright, we know this is a list of things to do in Dublin before you head to the pubs HOWEVER, consider this as a chance to visit Dublin’s heritage. The Brazen Head (also known as Ireland’s oldest pub), has been pouring pints since 1198 - almost 828 years if you’re counting.
Over the centuries, it’s welcomed some of Ireland’s most legendary political and literary figures, including Wolfe Tone, Michael Collins, and James Joyce. On Sunday’s you can catch their famous Trad Sessions from 3:30pm - just make sure to get there early because the room fills up fast!
4. Guinness Storehouse | St. James’ Gate
One of the best things to do in Dublin is to discover the city’s most famous pint. The Guinness Storehouse is famous among tourists and locals for a reason. It’s home to the black stuff, the pint of creamer, the Vitamin G…er, no one actually calls it that. GUINNESS.

5. The National Wax Museum Plus | Westmoreland Street, Temple Bar
Less than a 10-minute walk from Temple Bar, you’ll find Ireland’s first Wax Museum (operating since 1804), one of the most popular attractions in Dublin. It’s the perfect hideout during one of our legendary rain spells and offers something for everyone.

6. Grafton Street | 8-Minute Walk from Temple Bar
If you love having a mooch around (or need some retail therapy), then Grafton Street is a must-see during your Dublin visit. This bustling street is lined either side with a wide range of shops, flower stalls, and sprinkled with talented buskers.
Grab lunch at the popular Bewley’s Cafe, pick up some souvenirs and if you’re really lucky, catch a street performer juggling on a giant unicycle.
